When looking at the common module question from last year, keep the rubric in mind!
So obviously, this is addressing individual + collective human experiences.
It is also addressing the role of storytelling aspect of the rubric.
In order to talk about these two things, you would also need to look at other elements of the rubric and how human experiences are manifested within your prescribed text.
An example that comes to mind for me would be Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice'. I could address the fact that Shylock's experience as a Jew is metonymic of the treatment of Jews of society at the time. I could also potentially address the fact that he is a paradoxical character and relate that to individual vs collective human experiences.
I hope this helps! 🙂
