Navigating your Account

User Profile tab

You are able check your "Profile page" or configue settings for your account.

Edit your User Bio

You could insert your forum signature in your user bio. Head over to your Profile Setting page, under your username field, click on "Write something about yourself". Add in your user bio.

Change your Profile picture

Head over to your Profile Setting page, click on your Profile Picture, then select "Upload" and upload your desired picture.

Change your Password

Head over to your Profile Setting page, under the "Account" section, click on "Change Password" & follow the prompts to change your password.

Change your Email

Head over to your Profile Setting page, under the "Account" section, click on "Change Email" & follow the prompts to change your Email.

Manage Email/Web Notifications

Head over to your Profile Setting page, under the "Notifications" section, there are two sections one for Email Notifications & Web Notifications. Tick or Untick what notifications you want to be notified.

Disable "when I am online"

Head over to your Profile Setting page, under the "Privacy" section, you could enable/disable your online status.

Creating a Discussion

To create a Discussion:

Click on “Start a Discussion” button, you will be prompted to a small tab on the bottom of your screen.
Click on “Choose Tags”, you have a popup appear, where you need to choose a primary tag (category).
(Optional) you could also add in your HSC Subject as a secondary tag (like a hashtag)
After choosing the tags, click on the “Ok” button.
You will be prompted back to the small tab.
Fill in the Discussion’s title
Fill in the Discussion content
Publish the Discussion by clicking on “Post Discussion” button.

View Following Discussions

This page displays all the discussions you are following

View all Discussion Tags

This page displays all the Primary & Secondary Tags. Secondary tags a considered as Subject

View Notifications

The "bell" icon is the Notifications tab, as shown below.

Sort Discussions

Your able to sort discussions by; Lastest, Top, Newest, Oldest, Trending. As shown below.

Read/Unread marker

This button makes all discussions as read.

Tags associated with the Discussion

Below you can see every discussion associated with a tag/s.

Search Bar

You're able to search for discussions. As shown below.

Starting a Discussion

How are Discussions are sorted?

Discussions are sorted by “Tags” (or you could also say “categories”)

There are 2 types of tags;

Primary Tags: Main Category
Secondary Tags: HSC Subjects

Primary Tags: (its the Main category for each Discussion)

Discussion Subject Tags

If you check the tags page and scroll to the bottom, you can see tags, where every major Subject has its tag.

Creating a Discussion

To create a Discussion:

Click on “Start a Discussion” button, you will be prompted to a small tab on the bottom of your screen.

The community could contribute to prevent off-topic, inappropirate or spam post in the forum. Simiply by flagging a post.

Select Best Answer

Author of the discussion can only select the best answer.

Quote on a Post

To quote on a comment, simply select the particular part of the comment, after selecting you will see a "Quote" button appear, click on the button to proceed on commenting about it.
